green cluster

Looking for an outlet for your environmental angst?
The Green Cluster aims to be a forum and active agent for contributing to a greener San Diego. Chair: Brett R.

a note from the leader

Thank you for your interest in the Green Cluster! This cluster is a fun and intriguing forum for environmental education and action. There is no prior experience needed for this group. If you have previous environmental experience, you may act as a mentor to others. We choose events depending on the level of interest expressed by the group as a whole, and individual preferences. Feel free to suggest ideas or pose questions at anytime viae-mail, cell phone or at group events. Previous events included an educational movie screening, “Who Killed the Electric Car?” (we laughed, we cried!), “green” dining at Hotel Solamar’s JSix Restaurant downtown, Earth Thrive's Global Green Challenge benefit event in Del Mar, a tour of the EcoCenter located at the Regional Transportation Center (RTC) in the Normal Heights area, and a beach cleanup and kayak demonstration on Coronado Island in partnership with I Love a Clean San Diego and REI.

I hope you will join the Green Cluster for some good, CLEAN fun. I look forward to meeting you!

L'chaim,

Brett R.
